Q: The site looks different. What happened?

  • A: We recently moved Tickle.com on to a new technology platform. While the layout might look slightly different, the popular features have remained and we’ve added some new ones.

Q: I can't log in using my old login information! Whats going on?

  • A: If you registered for a Tickle Account during the month of June 2008, or have not logged into Tickle in the last 12 months, your account may not have been transferred over. The easiest solution will be to open a new account. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Q: I can’t see my detailed quiz results.

  • A: We are still transferring data from the old platform and there were billions of results, so it’s taking a little while. Your old results will reappear soon.

Q: I think some of my friends are gone!

  • A: Missing friends are those that have not logged into Tickle in over one year. Also brand-new users (those that registered after June 11, 2008) should have their accounts back on the site within the week, but you may need to re-invite them to be your friend.

Q: Why are my old photos and messages missing from my profile?

  • A: This also has to do with the data transfer. You should expect to see photos back very soon.

Q: What happened to the quizzes that I paid for?

  • A: We have discontinued the subscription program. All content on our site is now free! However, not all of the old premium quizzes are on the new platform yet.

Q: I just made a quiz but I can't find it on the site.

  • A: We are building new search tools for user generated quizzes. Until then you can find all the quizzes you have made on the left hand side of your profile page in the section, Quizzes I Have Made.

Q: How do I message a friend?

  • A: Click on their name to open their profile. Right underneath their profile photo you will see a link that says "Send a Message".

Q: How and why do I register for Tickle?

  • A: Click "Register" in the upper right hand corner of the home page. It's free, easy, and quick!
  • Fill out your profile information. If you don't have time to finish it all you can complete it later.
  • To validate yourself as a member of our community, click on the link you will receive in an email to the address you submitted with your profile.
  • Once confirmed as a member, you'll be able to access all of the information we have to offer and contribute your own ideas.

Q: How do I update my profile?

  • A: Make sure you are logged into your Tickle account.
  • Click on the "My Profile" link in the upper right corner of any Tickle screen.
  • Click the "Edit" link in the upper right corner of the screen directly across from your name. This will allow you to edit your information.

Q: How do I make my profile "private"?

  • A: Click the "My Account" tab.
  • Under the subhead Privacy, click the "Edit" link.
  • From here you can change your profile from public to private. Then click the "save" button.

Q: How do I manage my e-mail subscriptions?

  • A: Follow the instructions for making your profile private in Question 2.
  • Check or uncheck the appropriate boxes in the under the subhead Subscriptions to subscribe or unsubscribe from the various Tickle mailings.

Q: How do I change my primary e-mail address?

  • A: Follow the instructions for updating your profile in Question 2.
  • You must first add a second e-mail address by clicking on the "Add Another Email" link under the Emails subhead.
  • Click on the activation link in the confirmation e-mail that was sent to your new e-mail address.
  • Once your new e-mail is activated, return to the "Account Settings" and on the "Make Primary" link next to your new e-mail address.

Q: I forgot my password. How can I access my account?

  • A: Follow the instructions for updating your profile in Question 2.
  • You can have your forgotten password e-mailed to you at anytime by clicking on the "Forgot Password?" link in the login screen
  • Alternatively, you can use this link to have your password e-mailed to you

Q: How can I delete my account?

  • A: 1. Login to your profile.
  • 2. Click "Edit" to the right of your name or click here [http://www.tickle.com/account/profile/edit_basic], and then remove all personal information and change all of the drop down menus to their default value. You will have to leave your login and zip code, but you may edit them them so that they do not identify you. When you are finished, click "Submit".
  • 3. Next, click on the "My Account" tab, unsubscribe from the newsletter and then set your privacy settings to "Private"
  • This process will block anyone from accessing your old profile. You will not be able to use the same email to create a new account on Tickle.
